During the session, will be talking about the science of what’s going on for those with ASD – bringing compassion more directly into the conversation. The strategies to be discussed will focus on best-practices from the perspective of helping every student to become their best selves.Adapting classrooms, curriculums and the way we teach to meet the needs of those who are differently-abled will be seen as benefits also to those who are neurotypical. Please join us as we explore our knowledge, attitudes and actions in relation to Autism in the classroom.Kim Barthel is eclectic, grounded and everything in between.
